The Polydisciplinary Faculty of Safi (Cadi Ayyad University, Morocco) in collaboration with the African Geoparks Network (AGN), the African Association of Women in Geosciences (AAWG) and the Organization of African Geological Surveys (OAGS) organize, from the 24th to 28th October 2023, the first International hybrid Congress on Geodiversity, Geoheritage, Geotourism, Geoeducation, Geoparks & Sustainable development Goals (5G & SDGs) to be held in Safi (Morocco). The congress aims to identify, promote, and advise on the importance of geoheritage for sustainable development.
All researchers in the fields of geoheritage, geotourism, geoconservation, environment and sustainable development and geoethics, policy makers, economists, geoparks and local communities administrators and leaders, NGOs, business operators, medias and individuals with interest in geoheritage development are invited to participate.
The conference will take place simultaneously face-to-face and remotely (the link will be provided before the conference)
